Members of Swami Deva Sarlo’s guru-hating list Guru Rating Forum were profoundly shocked when Sarlo formally apologized for his role in a campaign of harassment against Rasa von Werder of The University Of Mother God Church.

This is the first time that Sarlo has apologized to another human being let alone a guru since starting his guru-hating forum over 5 years ago.

However we can reveal that the heavily labored apology did not come directly from Sarlo himself but from his mistress of 24 years, Ma Dhyan Amiyo.

Sarlo’s most vigorous attacks against Rasa happened last year – over 3 months ago. In one email he insists on classifying Rasa as a porn actress, which she says insists is untrue, and threatens (a typical Sarloesque tactic) to ban her from his list when she begs to differ.

Sarlo never had any intention of apologizing until Amiyo discovered the brutalizing emails on Sarlo’s PC. Traumatized, Amiyo took several days to review the true extent of Sarlo’s misogynous activities.

Four years after meeting Sarlo, who ran Rajneesh center in Vancouver, Amiyo had been forced to confront sexual abuse issues (which she labeled as “ego fuel”) in Sarlo’s online Osho Pulse magazine.

Sarlo’s reference to Rasa being a porn actress still persists on his Sarlo Guru Ratings Service. Sarlo’s only embittered concession was to change it to “quibble whether he had used the term “ex-porn star”. Meanwhile Sarlo’s protégé, Jody Radzik, continues to describe Rasa as an “ex-porn star” on his guru-hate blog Guruphiliac. As we shall see, Radzik and Sarlo are so close that Radzik allegedly registered Sarlo’s domain: gururatings.com to Radzik’s Santa Fe work address.

Swami Deva Sarlo became a member of the Osho (formerly Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh) group in 1974. He made several trips to Osho’s ashram in Pune working there as a security guard. By 1990 Osho and his consort, Vivek, were dead. A secret group of murderers ostensibly led by Ma Anand Sheela were suspected of using poisons. Arrests followed.

Sarlo ran to the Osho Samaroha Meditation Center in Vancouver, running it with Ma Dhyan Amiyo.

Sarlo now spends his time controlling the flow of information about Osho, sannyas and other gurus. He has been accused of harsh censorship on numerous occasions.

Sarlo owns and controls several important pieces of internet real estate including: forums, directories, webrings and his own personal webpages.
